The Biggest Trends in Street Style Footwear at Men’s Paris Fashion Week FW23

Paris Fashion Week marked the end of the Fall/Winter 2023 menswear season, and it was full of surprises. Unlike Milan’s Fashion Week, Paris was full of Nike collaborations and loafer iterations.

Nike’s domination over the fashion week follows a year of strong collaborations in 2022. Many of the most exclusive collabs could be spotted around Paris, including the Jacquemus x Nike Air Humara LX “Pink Flash” and the eBay x Nike SB Dunk Low “Sandy Bodecker”. Both of these shoes dropped towards the end of the year and fans wasted no time copping these elusive sneakers. However, those weren’t the only shoes catching the eyes of admirers in Paris. Nike x Travis Scott x Air Jordan 1 Low OG “Reverse Mocha” and the AMBUSH x Nike Air Force 1 Low “Game Royal” were both flexed during the fashion week. Other Nike collabs included many examples of the sacai and Nike crossover. Both the sacai Nike Blazer Low and sacai x Nike VaporWaffle could be seen in various colorways.

Loafers iterations shined just as bright as Nike did under the lights of Paris. Both the Maison Margiela Tabi boots and the Pleasures x Doc Martens collaborative low-top showed out and did not disappoint. These collabs combined the grace of loafers with the uniqueness of streetwear. Salmon and Asics were common choices for those prioritizing comfort. However, the participants valuing formality went with boots and loafers to upgrade their fits.
